ISC ASSOCIATE HONORED BY PRESIDENT TRUMP AT THE WHITE HOUSE
The event focused on people who have taken advantage of workforce development opportunities and have chosen to invest in themselves and their future. After President and Ivanka Trump gave remarks, the President invited Gros to share his story on building a successful career in the industrial sector.
“Like anything, what you get out of something is what you put into it. If you work hard at this program, it will pay off,” Gros said. “Juggling night classes, a full-time job and a family was a challenge, but focusing on the positive impact that my education would have on my family and career helped me take the steps to strengthen the knowledge required to better shape my future.”
The Patterson, LA native and new dad worked four, 16-hour days each week for two years to complete his education, earning electrical and instrumentation credentials. Gros, 35, chose ABC Pelican’s craft training program to deepen his understanding of the trades.
Jerry Rispone, CEO of ISC, commented, “Tim is a prime example of the long-term career pathway our industry offers and demonstrates the characteristics required to reach our highest career potential. We encourage all ISC Associates to take advantage of the professional development opportunities. On behalf of ISC and our industry, congratulations Tim, on your hard work, success, and for representing our industry at the White House.”
