“Your detailed design, procurement, and construction work for this project largely contributed to the success of the project from the beginning to the end… In a location with so many different entities involved, ISC continued to lead by example setting the bar higher and higher day by day.”

About the Project
ISC, in partnership with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Inc., performed electrical and instrumentation engineering, procurement and construction on the grassroots North American Growth (NAG) Polyethylene Project for ExxonMobil in Mont Belvieu, TX. MHI completed an expansion to ExxonMobil’s Singapore Chemical Facility very similar in size and scope to this project. MHI’s decision to select ISC as a partner is a direct result of our longstanding relationship with ExxonMobil, our continuously increasing engineering capabilities, and our long-term commitment to workforce development in the Gulf Coast.
The ISC Engineering team worked 38,700 man-hours, and the construction team had a peak total of 525 associates’ onsite and worked more than 1.1 million man-hours during the duration of the project. ISC’s culture and high regard for safety enabled all of these man-hours to be worked over a 3-year period with ZERO OSHA Recordables.
